Sometimes, yes. We have special hoisting ropes that are heavy duty to handle the weight of liftable items. In some situations, a large piece of furniture won’t fit into or out of your house/apartment. When this happens, we will decide if the hoist can be completed safely. If we think we can make it happen, we will do it. For the safety of the crew, *It is entirely up to them whether your furniture will be hoisted or not.* No extra charge for hoisting, but I hear movers like tips! Please notify us if you believe you will need hoisting services.

We will move upright pianos, from 1st floor to 1st floor. Its up to the discretion of your crew to decide if this can be done. Typically, we do not like to move pianos, for insurance purposes. An additional charge of $150 will be added for piano moves.

Yes. We do not, however, do pack and moves on the same day. We will gladly pack your items and then come back at a later date to move them. We offer two and three person crews on pack jobs. Call to inquire about our packing rates.

We accept cash, certified check, money order, and credit/debit cards. No personal checks. Did I mention movers like being tipped for their hard work? 😉
